  2. TheMorenita2010 says:

that was excellent im barely going to cake decorating school so exciting

  3. gayerthankali says:

it depends on how thick your layers are, if it’s just a 4-5 inch cake it’ll be alright but if it’s much taller than that you should put something under each layer with supports on the bottom.
it’ll taste better if you put icing between the layers.

  5. crystalromero5 says:

when you stack the cakes do you need to use stands or a frosting between layers

that looks like shit, the parts to the bow have sagged should have left them overnight to harden and these videos suck.

  8. StephisaBowar says:

@rpb86 you could still use it if it’s dry, you just won’t be able to move it as much

  9. Corinababy14 says:

That fondant is NOT set up enough to make a bow. Not even close.

  12. flexibilitychick090 says:

    oh…………….. food coloring

  13. rpb86 says:

She said not to leave the fondant overnight because it would completely dry and you’d be unable to use it.

  14. magickmogwai says:

under njo circumstances follow the instruction to leave overnight. I did this and everything disintegrated as i was placing it then on the cake, ruining it completely!

  15. paintball36addict says:

you make it yourself, or u can buy it….but in my opinion it taste better wen you make it your self

like sugar dough. i guess they use it on alot of cakes to make it look smooth. idk if its avalible in england

  18. ProofBloggCantDance says:

yeah you can get pre-made roll out icing from shops like sainsburies, or cake shops, mould it a little with your hands before rolling just to make it easier to work with

  19. torkx3 says:

Fondant is rolled sugar. It is probably available in England, you can most likely order it online. But I find it easier to make it. Marshmallow fondant is very easy to make and I’m sure if you do research online you can find a recipe. The thing is with icing is that it wont have the round outer edge of the bow. So, to make the bow you would need fondant because its sturdier.

  20. hackxpert says:

nice but thanks for showing us how to make the cake! :-

  21. xxdhw4eva says:

i think that cake looks amazing but i thinkthe bow wouls look better without the white love hearts its to much going on but great vid anyways :) <3

  22. AJsNhikki says:

Fondant is just basically a sugar dough. I myself make it homemade but you can buy it from the store. The easiest recipe I have found for it calls for 1 bag of minimarshmellows and 1 box of confectioners sugar. Making it from scratch is a very tedious and messy job, but worth it in the end in my opinion

  23. Bumbleweather says:

fondant is a sugary but pliable dough like substance. They shape and form it like play-dough to cover cakes to make them look smooth, and to decorate them.
It’s mostly just icing sugar and corn syrup. You can easily make it yourself. There are tons of recipes, you can also make it with marshmellows and icing sugar.
